This is a report of the event that took place on Tuesday 27 March 2007, where 90 people met Patricia Hewitt, Secretary of State for Health, to hear what has been happening across health and social care since the publication, in January 2006, of the white paper 'Our health, our care, our say: a new direction for community services'.

A national publication Our health, our care, our say: making it happen provides an update on progress on implementation of the White Paper and sets out the next stages. It includes a road map to implementation and is a resource to support key actions for local implementation.
