Learning Co-ordinator: NHSU
George Bell is an NHSU Learning Co-ordinator for the north-east region with responsibility for developing learning partnerships between NHSU and the various NHS Trusts, PCTs, social care organisations and further and higher education institutes in the Northumberland, Tyne and Wear SHA patch.
NHSU has been actively involved with the development of CEHI believing it to be an important local initiative that engages all health, educational, local authority and social care partners in the challenges of supporting practitioners in the field of public health.
The activities CEHI is developing are clearly consistent with the mission of NHSU in that learning can be used as a means of facilitating change in practice, service design and delivery and therefore NHSU aims to maintain its involvement with this innovation.
