Huge attendance at the Choosing Health seminar which saw a soft launch of this weblog in its developmental stage. Lots of interest, lots of potential and below, already one eager blogger!
Thanks to Gateshead Libraries staff for helping out with the public internet sessions.
Although I'm a member of the steering group I had nothing to do with the organisation of the Choosing Health Seminar so I think I can say, without appearing to be self-congratulatory, IT WAS FANTASTIC!
It was a great idea, and was brilliantly organised and delivered.
Well done to everyone involved, I can't think of any event that I've been to in the last 20 years that has been so successful in inspiring people to take positive action.
