CEHI is delivering a half day workshop looking at how to carry out a Health Needs Assessment on several occasions during the autumn. Health Needs Assessment is a powerful planning tool that can provide evidence about a population on which to develop services and address health inequalities. This workshop will look at the process of undertaking a health needs assessment. Participants will leave with:
o an understanding of the key elements within a health needs assessment
o an awareness of some health needs assessments carried out locally
o a framework within which to undertake their own health needs assessment
o an understanding of how health needs assessment can inform business planning
