Immunisation week
On the 11/09/07 Gateshead Health Trainers will be doing their part to raise awareness of immunisation. If you’re passing Gateshead bus interchange from 8am or connexions next to the interchange between 9.30am and 1.30pm then why stop for a chat and a coffee.
Mental Health Week
On the 10/10/07 Gateshead Health trainers will also be doing their part to raise awareness of mental health. Again we are at Gateshead bus interchange from 8am and connexions between 9.30am and 1.30pm.

In light of the growing concerns over the high measles cases in the South of England (discussed on radio 5 live on 30th August 2007) it is useful for us all to be mindful of our public health role! Can I encourage people to inform friends and family that the Health Trainers are able to signpost them to Services for appropriate advice and support. Come and meet the team on the 11th September inside the Metro interchange and pick up information and ‘freebees’
