‘Health Trainers think global but act local’

We are fully aware that health and the environment are inseparable, with consequences all too damaging when the status quo is rocked. Let’s just think for a moment; how would we manage our health and well-being should the communities we live in suffer from flooding? Water quality and its availability are essential for washing and drinking every day of the year, with out this we would find every day activities hard to manage and a potential for infections and tummy upsets would begin to take hold. Carbon footprints we are informed affects air quality and environmental pollution discarded by each one of us through the way we live. We want you to do as we do and help make Gateshead a healthy place to live, join us to ‘think global but act local’.
